Troopers,
It’s the Monday after Awesome Con and my body is reminding me of every bruise made, armor bite received, and step taken. I’m aching and exhausted. And I know so many of you are too. I also know that every ache was worth it.
We put smiles on thousands of faces, young and young at heart. We made contact with tons of possible recruits and represented the 501st Legion with pride. Best of all, we raised $1842.47 for one of our favorite organizations: Travis Manion Foundation. That’s a lot of money for just being shot at by darts and a raffle.
But none of it could have happened if it weren’t for you. Each and every one of you, from our own OLG to Garrisons Tyranus and Corellia, The Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs, R2 Builders, and even the Colonial Marines, made this weekend possible. Every one of you were an intricate part of keeping our booth staffed and running smoothly. You have my sincerest thanks.
Thank you so very much for all of your help and patience. Rest up, my friends. You’ve earned it.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of fans who came to see us. Thank you for your generosity, your enthusiasm, and your energy. You make it all worthwhile.
